Compare a sailing catamaran with a power catamaran before choosing the cabin count. The Lagoon models collected here offer different ways to enjoy the Estérel, from a compact coastal sailing day to a longer stay with broad shared decks.

The Lagoon 40, original 42 and 620 are sailing catamarans. The 630 Motor Yacht is a power catamaran with no sailing rig. That distinction changes the experience of the passage and the shape of the programme, even when the broad cockpit and twin-hull accommodation appear to answer similar needs.
For a Théoule holiday, describe whether sailing itself is part of the attraction. Guests who want time under sail should allow the day's route to respond to wind and comfort. Those primarily seeking outdoor living aboard a motor yacht can compare the 630's spaces and operating proposal without expecting a sailing experience.
A model's beam gives useful context, but the cockpit, saloon, flybridge and cabin plan explain how that space works. The 40 and 42 keep the raised helm close to the main social areas. The larger 620 and 630 add substantial flybridge space, with more separation between the settings used through the day.
For overnight stays, read the galley position and bathroom plan alongside the cabin count. Manufacturer versions differ, and a principal suite occupying more of one hull creates a different balance from several separate guest rooms. Allocate the party on the offered plan before deciding that a larger number is automatically a better fit.
The models here are supported by regional charter evidence, including nearby or wider Mediterranean departures. Their inclusion does not imply a permanent Théoule berth. A convenient meeting point, any repositioning and the intended duration should be considered together, so the first and last hours fit the guests' holiday.
Each guide separates manufacturer design facts from the arrangements of a particular charter. A proposal identifies the actual yacht, current equipment, guest permissions and costs, then the captain shapes a workable coastal itinerary around the dates and conditions.
Start the conversation with one shoreline preference. It cannot establish an anchorage: the captain still assesses what is possible.
For a day centred on the bay, begin with departure arrangements and leave time for being together before the return. A proposed shore stop needs to be considered against the actual boarding plan.
Along the red shore, looking at the coast can be the point of the outing. Allow for the sea and for a change of stop; wanting a particular view does not establish permission to anchor there.
