Théoule-sur-Mer · Private yacht charter
Water activities along Théoule’s red coast, planned at a gentler pace.
Beside Théoule’s red rock and pine slopes, a good water stop may be the main event of the day. Decide whether you want to swim from the yacht, use confirmed snorkelling equipment or make a separate visit to the Pointe de l’Aiguille underwater trail. Each needs a different brief.

Look at the coast and what lies beneath it
The local tourism office describes the Estérel–Théoule maritime park as the seaward continuation of the Estérel and Pointe de l’Aiguille natural areas. Its account of the underwater landscape includes rocky shallows, sand and Posidonia meadows. These are reasons to plan the stopping place carefully, not to treat every appealing patch of water as a suitable anchorage.
More practical details
The office advises recreational boaters to favour sandy areas when anchoring. Your captain still needs to check the actual seabed, current local arrangements and conditions for the selected yacht.
An underwater trail is a separate shore plan
Pointe de l’Aiguille has an official underwater trail described by the tourism office. Its current access arrangements and any guided session should be checked directly before making it a fixed part of the day. A yacht charter does not automatically include participation, equipment, a guide or a landing beside the trail.
More practical details
If the trail is the main attraction, tell us before a vessel is proposed. The organiser can then compare a shore-based visit with a swim or snorkelling stop supported from the yacht elsewhere. Combining them is a practical question about access and available hours, not a promise that both fit every half-day charter.
Leave the afternoon some room
A short coastal outline towards the Estérel can centre on water time and lunch. Adding more cruising or a shore appointment changes that balance. Let the captain propose the order once the conditions are known, and keep a dry alternative for guests who prefer to stay aboard or for a day when the planned stop is unsuitable.
More practical details
For Cuivre Riviera, start with the hours you want to spend beside the coast and the activity the party will actually share. Mention swimmers, those staying on deck and any shore-based trail visit. We can seek a named yacht with suitable access and ask for equipment, support, costs and an alternative programme to be set out together.
Choose equipment that people will use
A paddleboard can sound appealing until the group discovers only one guest wants to use it. Give the actual number of participants and their confidence level. Ask which boards or snorkelling sets are supplied, how they are prepared and where they are stored when the yacht moves. Optional hire needs to appear separately from the base charter inclusions.
More practical details
The most useful photographs may be of the bathing ladder and shaded cockpit. Guests need a comfortable way back aboard and somewhere to rest between swims. Explain any difficulty with steps in advance, and clarify supervision for children. Equipment carried on the yacht does not establish an instructor or a dedicated activity team.
Choose the coast for your request
Which shoreline belongs in your day?
Start the conversation with one shoreline preference. It cannot establish an anchorage: the captain still assesses what is possible.
For a day centred on the bay, begin with departure arrangements and leave time for being together before the return. A proposed shore stop needs to be considered against the actual boarding plan.
Along the red shore, looking at the coast can be the point of the outing. Allow for the sea and for a change of stop; wanting a particular view does not establish permission to anchor there.
